In preparation for the historic People’s Climate March in New York City, a collective of AgitArte and Papel Machete artists collaborated with El Puente to construct a 20-foot high puppet of Mother Earth (La Madre Tierra) that served as a global reminder of the human risk and impact of climate change, and the greatest risk facing frontline communities of color.
